Pathology lab fees

Pathology testing at Australian collection centres is billed separately from the Clinic365 referral fee.

  • Medicare card holders: Most major Australian pathology providers bulk-bill the standard 5-infection STI screen — no out-of-pocket cost for the lab tests themselves.
  • OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover): Most OSHC providers cover the cost of pathology lab tests directly. Check with your OSHC insurer for specifics.
  • Without Medicare or OSHC: Pathology fees vary by provider and test panel. Typically $30–$120 for a standard STI screen. The collection centre will quote before processing.

Refunds

If a Specialist GP determines that telehealth is not appropriate for your clinical situation and you cannot go with the service, the consultation fee is refunded.
