Everything you need to know about Free Test Friday

Every Friday, Clinic365 offers a free full STI screen — the same 5-infection panel as our $39 service, at no cost. Book a slot between 9am and 12 noon AEST, speak to a Specialist GP by phone, and walk into any pathology clinic Australia-wide with your referral.

What you get. Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV, and hepatitis B — plus optional self-collect throat, vaginal, and rectal swabs at no extra cost.

Who can book. Anyone in Australia. No age restriction. With a Medicare card, pathology is bulk-billed — $0 at every stage. Without Medicare, the Clinic365 consultation is still free. Pathology fees may apply depending on your provider — at ACL (Australian Clinical Labs) sites, we can bill directly to BUPA, Allianz, AHM, Medibank Private, and NIB for overseas students. For other visa holders, BUPA and Allianz. Otherwise, pay upfront and claim from your insurer.

Have symptoms? Don't wait for Friday. Symptoms like discharge, pain, sores, or rash need attention now — book a telehealth consult ($59) any day for same-day assessment and treatment.

When to test. Wait 2 weeks after new sexual contact for the most accurate results. Routine screening is recommended yearly, or every 3 months with multiple partners. If you've been treated for an STI, retest at 6 weeks to confirm clearance.

Why free? STI rates in Australia are at record highs. Cost is the number one reason people skip testing. Free Test Friday is funded by Clinic365 to remove that barrier — every week, no strings attached.

Missed out? Places fill fast. Our $39 online STI screen is available 24/7 — no appointment, no doctor call, same full screen. Or try again next Friday.
