Everything you need to know about men's sexual health

Clinic365 provides comprehensive sexual health care for men of all ages, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. Our Specialist GPs have an interest in men's sexual health and can address the full range of concerns — from routine STI screening to erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, fertility assessment, and HIV prevention — all available by telehealth from anywhere in Australia. Men'S Sexual Health Clinic Melbourne is available by telehealth from our Specialist GP.

STI screening is recommended at least annually for all sexually active men, and every three months for men who have sex with men or those with multiple partners. Clinic365's $39 online screen covers chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV, and hepatitis with no appointment needed. For men who have had oral or anal sex, self-collect throat and rectal swabs are strongly recommended, as infections at these sites are almost always symptom-free and missed by urine testing alone.

HIV Prevention and STI Prevention are key prevention tools for men at higher risk of HIV and bacterial STIs. HIV prevention reduces HIV risk by over 99 per cent when taken daily, and Clinic365 offers initiation ($59) and ongoing monitoring ($39 quarterly). STI prevention — taken after condomless sex — reduces chlamydia and syphilis acquisition by over 80 per cent and is available by telehealth.

Erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation are common conditions that many men are reluctant to discuss. Clinic365 makes it easy — telehealth consultations are completely private and confidential. Effective medications including ED and PE medications can be arranged and sent to your pharmacy electronically. Ongoing refills are $39 with no appointment needed.

Semen analysis for fertility assessment is available online ($39 referral), as an at-home kit ($79), or in-person at our East Melbourne clinic ($149). Your Specialist GP reviews results and can arrange further investigation or fertility specialist referral if needed. All men's sexual health services are confidential — your regular GP, employer, and insurer are never notified.

Erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation are common conditions that affect many men but are often under-reported due to embarrassment or stigma. These conditions are medical in nature and respond well to treatment in most cases. Your Specialist GP will conduct a thorough assessment to identify any underlying causes — including cardiovascular risk factors, hormonal imbalances, medication side effects, and psychological contributors — and develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual circumstances.

Telehealth is particularly well-suited to these consultations because it removes the barrier of face-to-face discussion about sensitive topics. Many patients find it easier to speak openly and honestly about their symptoms by phone. Your GP will explain the available treatment options, discuss the expected benefits and potential side effects, and send your script electronically to your chosen pharmacy. Follow-up appointments can be scheduled to assess treatment response and adjust the plan if needed. Ongoing refills are available for $39 online once your treatment is established.

Men's sexual health encompasses more than just STI testing. At Clinic365, our Specialist GPs provide comprehensive assessment and management of erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, fertility concerns, genital skin conditions, and preventive care including HIV prevention and vaccination. We understand that many men find it difficult to seek help for these issues, which is why we offer telehealth consultations — providing expert care in a private, convenient, and discreet format. All consultations are confidential and results are communicated directly to you.
