About Dr Ed Skinner and Clinic365

Dr Ed Skinner is a Melbourne-based Specialist GP and the founder of Clinic365, with over 10 years of experience in sexual health testing, treatment, and prevention. He is well known for his contributions to sexual health innovation and education.

Dr Ed observed that many people delayed or avoided STI testing due to embarrassment, cost, or inconvenience. He built Clinic365 around a telehealth-first model that combines digital consultations with same-day testing through trusted pathology partners, providing experienced, discreet care for everyone.

He is experienced in diagnosing and treating sexually transmitted infections, managing PrEP and PEP medications, addressing sexual dysfunction in both men and women, and treating skin-related sexual health conditions including genital herpes, genital warts, and molluscum contagiosum.

Research — University of Melbourne. Dr Ed is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne's Department of General Practice and Primary Care. He contributes to research, medical student teaching, and mentoring the next generation of doctors. He is involved with the Data for Decisions program, the Future Health Today digital decision-support platform, and a five-year NHMRC Partnership Project developing a digital tool to improve STI and HIV prevention, testing, and management in Australian general practice. Clinic365 is a partner in this NHMRC-funded project alongside ASHM, Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, the RACGP, Sexual Health Victoria, the Victorian Department of Health, and Western Health.
