Clinic365 provides comprehensive sexual health care for women of all ages, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Our Specialist GPs have an interest in women's sexual health and reproductive medicine, covering the full range of services from STI testing and treatment to contraception, cervical screening, emergency contraception, and ongoing reproductive health management — all available by telehealth from anywhere in Australia. Womens Sexual Health Clinic Melbourne is available by telehealth from our Specialist GP.
STI screening is recommended at least annually for all sexually active women, or more frequently with new partners. Many STIs including chlamydia are significantly more common in women under 30 and are almost always symptom-free. Clinic365's $39 online screen covers chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV, and hepatitis. Self-collect vaginal swabs are available to test for infections at sites that urine testing alone would miss.
Contraception services include prescribing the combined pill, progesterone-only option, patches, and rings by telehealth ($59), with ongoing refills available for $39 online. For long-acting reversible contraception, our East Melbourne clinic offers IUD insertion and contraceptive implant insertion ($499, telehealth consult $59 required first). Emergency contraception — emergency contraception medication — can be arranged by telehealth and sent to your pharmacy immediately.
Cervical screening is available through three pathways: online self-collect at any pathology clinic ($39), at-home kit ($79), or in-person at our Melbourne clinic ($149). Since July 2022, all eligible people can choose self-collection — a simple vaginal swab that is equally accurate as clinician-collected samples for HPV detection. Screening is recommended every five years for ages 25 to 74.
Clinic365 is inclusive of all gender identities and sexual orientations. We use inclusive language and our Specialist GPs have training in LGBTQ+ sexual health. Services are tailored to your individual needs regardless of how you identify. All consultations are completely confidential — your regular GP, employer, and insurer are never notified.
Choosing the right contraception is a personal decision that depends on your health profile, lifestyle, relationship status, and reproductive goals. Your Specialist GP will discuss all available options during your consultation, including the combined oral contraceptive pill, progestogen-only pill, contraceptive patch, vaginal ring, injectable contraception, intrauterine devices (copper and hormonal), and subdermal implants. Each method has different advantages in terms of effectiveness, convenience, side effect profile, and reversibility.
Telehealth is particularly well-suited to these consultations because it removes the barrier of face-to-face discussion about sensitive topics. Many patients find it easier to speak openly and honestly about their symptoms by phone. Your GP will explain the available treatment options, discuss the expected benefits and potential side effects, and send your treatment electronically to your chosen pharmacy. Follow-up appointments can be scheduled to assess treatment response and adjust the plan if needed. Ongoing refills are available for $39 online once your treatment is established.
Women's sexual health encompasses more than just STI testing. At Clinic365, our Specialist GPs provide comprehensive assessment and management of contraception, cervical screening, vaginal infections, menstrual concerns, and preventive care including HPV vaccination. We understand that many women find it difficult to discuss these issues openly, which is why we offer telehealth consultations — providing expert care in a private, convenient, and discreet format. All consultations are confidential and results are communicated directly to you.
